No Daley ("we", "us") operates the No Daley mobile app, a rental listings marketplace connecting property owners and renters in Nepal, and the nodaley.com website that promotes it. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and who we share it with. You can browse public listings without creating an account or providing your name or phone number.

Information we collect

Account information: your name and phone number, collected when you sign up and verify your number by SMS code.
Property listings: if you list a property as an owner, we collect the listing details you provide — title, description, rent, room counts, amenities, address/area, location coordinates, and any photos you upload. Once approved, the listing, photos, and any map pin you provide are visible to people browsing No Daley, including people without an account.
Account-linked activity: when you are signed in, we record which listings you view or save and when you tap to contact an owner by call or WhatsApp. This lets owners see interest in their listings and supports your saved-listing and enquiry features. Anonymous listing views are not added to an account activity record.
Device permissions: we request access to your camera and photo library (to upload property photos) and your location (to show listings near you or to tag a property's location when you list it). You can decline these and use the parts of the app that don't need them. Coordinates used for a nearby-results request are not saved to your account; a map pin you choose for a property listing is saved and displayed with that listing.

How we use this information

To operate the marketplace — showing listings, letting owners publish and manage properties, and connecting owners with interested renters.
To review listings before they go live. Every property listing is checked before it is published to other users.
To show owners basic stats about their listings, such as view counts and how many people reached out.

How we share information

When you contact an owner about a listing, your name and phone number are shown to that owner so they can respond to you. When you list a property, your name and phone number are shown to renters who choose to contact you. This is the minimum needed for owners and renters to reach each other directly — there is no in-app messaging, so this contact happens over a regular phone call or WhatsApp.

Phone calls and WhatsApp conversations take place outside No Daley and are handled by your mobile carrier, device, or WhatsApp under their own terms and privacy practices. No Daley does not receive the contents of those calls or WhatsApp conversations.

We use service providers to operate No Daley. Our SMS delivery provider receives your phone number and the verification message so it can deliver your one-time code. Hosting and storage providers process the information needed to run the app and store listings and photos. We require providers that handle personal data for us to protect it to the same or an equivalent standard described in this policy.

To help us find and fix technical errors, we use Sentry, a third-party error-monitoring service. Sentry may receive limited diagnostic information such as app and device version, operating system, error stack traces, HTTP status codes, and app route templates. We configure it not to receive names, phone numbers, listing content, search input, request data, session replay, analytics events, or user identity.

We do not sell your personal data.

Our website

Our website, nodaley.com, uses Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google, to understand how visitors find the site and whether they open our App Store or Google Play listings. When you visit, Google Analytics may set cookies in your browser and receive your IP address, browser and device information, the pages you view, and the page you came from. When you select an App Store or Google Play button, we also record which button you selected and where on the page it was.

We do not collect your name, phone number, or any form input through the website, and we do not turn on Google's advertising features or ad personalization on the site. We do not load Google Analytics if your browser sends a Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control signal. You can also block cookies in your browser settings, or use Google's Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on. Google handles this information under its own privacy policy.

Data retention

We keep your account, listings, and account-linked activity while your account is active. SMS verification and security records are kept as needed to verify access and prevent abuse. You can permanently delete your account from Profile in the No Daley app. Deletion removes your profile, authentication tokens, SMS verification records, listings and uploaded photos, saved listings, enquiries, listing-view records, reports, and blocks. Your choices

You can browse without an account, decline optional camera, photo, and location access, or revoke those permissions later in your device settings. You can delete your account in the app. On our website, you can use Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control, block cookies, or use Google's opt-out add-on as described above. If you did not create an account and want us to check for or delete information associated with a phone number, or if you have another privacy request, contact us at the address below.

Reporting a listing

If you believe a listing is fraudulent, misleading, or otherwise inappropriate, you can report it directly from the listing in the app. Reports are reviewed by our team.

Children's privacy

No Daley is not directed at children, and is not intended for use by anyone under 18.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the app changes. Material changes will be reflected by updating the date at the top of this page.
